Yesterday I found this quote in one of my mums numerous notebooks: it seems appropriate to share it on the day of her funeral. "He who seeks happiness can find it in 2 ways. He can find it when the mind is absorbed and the body pleasantly active. He can find it also when the mind is absorbed but the body is forgotten...as when reading a good book. On such occasions we leave our bodies and go on a journey without them. Few pleasures exceed this. The secret is in both cases the ego is disposed of quite forgotten." J. S Collis (Irish writer 1900-1984)
